The event will kick off on Saturday, February 2 with an opening reception and will last through Sunday, April 7. The final day will host a marketplace where attendees can shop runway looks and meet designers. The exhibit is a part of our ongoing partnership with the City of Denver and coincides with the McNichols Project: Lights, Camera, Fashion.“I think it’s the perfect time to highlight the creative talent in Denver’s fashion industry. Fashion has become more and more accessible to all: all ages, all sizes, all backgrounds, all people. The selection process for the exhibit has been a real collaborative effort and I think you will be surprised by the exciting, fresh edgy styles of Denver’s top designers. Celebrating our cultural community is what the McNichols Civic Center is all about,” said Shanna Shelby, Curator of Exhibits for the McNichols Civic Center Building
The exhibit and opening reception is free to attend and open for all ages.
The exhibit will be a precursor to the upcoming DFW Spring 2019 Fall season on March 23 - 31. This season, which adds another Saturday runway night to our week-long event, will be bigger than ever. We have a lot of exciting news to share with you on that, so keep an eye out for future releases.
