To all of my American friends, I challenge you to say this 3 times fast right now, "Helo, a sut wyt ti heddiw gadewch i ni siarad Ffasiwn Chwaraeon." Do you have ANY idea what this could possibly mean?!? K. Me either BUT I will remember the name THOMAS WYNNE LEWIS and you should too if you are a soccer fan.

TBH for those of you who follow my BLOG, you know that I have grown up in an AMERICAN FOOTBALL FAMILY. A family who coached, played, cheered, called games, and anything else required to get that game going; we did it. We loved winning and win we did. I loved it then and love being involved in the game as much as possible now. But needless to say, I know NOTHING about soccer other than that THE FIFA World Cup was extremely exciting this year and watching the games was definitely a good excuse to get out and about in Raleigh, North Carolina. I mean, I had no idea how many soccer fans there were in Raleigh, but for these games, the city got LOUD. It was awesome and exciting to experience! I can only imagine how epic the celebrations were "across the pond." Lets check in with Thomas on this one . . .

Q:  Was this year the most epic World Cup of all time?

A:  I would have loved to say that the most recent World Cup was the most epic but sadly Wales didn’t perform to expectations so that put a real dampener on it for me! I think for me France 98 was awesome, players like Ronaldo, Zidane and Roberto Carlos at the peak of their powers. The kits were pretty special too.
Q:  What is your favourite FASHION brand?

A:  My favourite fashion brand is Adidas, by far! I have a bit of an addiction to Adidas trainers and have around 15 pairs. I also wear a lot of Fred Perry and Lyle & Scott.

Q:  What is your favorite sport outside of "football?"

A:  My favourite sport outside of football is probably snooker. I know it’s not really played much globally apart from the UK and China but I’m a massive fan. I like playing pool also, it’s mostly just an excuse to go down the pub though.

My next question was going to be WTH is "snooker," but that can be a story for another time. In all seriousness, this dude does a fantastic job of sports reporting and his wit is unmatched so definitely check out his work.

And alas; in closing, to all of you wonderful folks out there who may have grown a little weary about all of the talk on The Royals this week . . . for this article, YOU ARE WELCOME. ;)
